Dr. Joseph Triana did his undergraduate degree at the University of Miami, where he majored in Psychology and double minored in Chemistry and Biology for his Bachelors in Science degree. Dr. J. Triana then went to Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, P.R., where he graduated with clinical distinction and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society with his medical degree. Dr. J. Triana then pursued his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Joseph R. Triana is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. J. Triana has made appearances on The Learning Channel’s reality medical shows like Maternity Ward and Trauma life and death in the ER. Dr. Joseph Triana is highly trained in minimally invasive surgery for all types of gynecologic procedures including: Da Vinci Robotic Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, Office Ablations, and Hysteroscopic Tubal Sterilizations.

Dr. J. Triana also specializes in: High-risk Obstetrics, Vaginal Reconstructive Surgery, Basic Infertility, Urinary Incontinence, Botox and Juvederm. When Dr. J. Triana is not in the office he enjoys playing golf, scuba diving, and exercising.

Dr Albert Triana is an alumni of the University of Miami where he received a Bachelors of Science with a major in Microbiology and Immunology. After graduating from the University of Miami, Dr. Triana attended Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Dr. Triana graduated from Ponce School of Medicine, with clinical distinction, on May 29, 2004. After graduating from medical school Dr. Triana continued his training at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital where he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Triana was Administrative Chief Resident during his final year of residency, and completed his training in June of 2008.

Dr. Triana is trained in high risk obstetrics, gynecologic surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, uro-gynecology, general reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and the state of the art Da Vinci Robotic Surgery. Dr. Triana also performs many minimally invasive in office procedures such as endometrial ablations, Essure tubal sterilizations, as well as diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy. Dr Triana is also trained in cosmetic procedures such as Botox, Juvederm, and sclerotherapy.

Dr. Triana enjoys spending his weekends playing golf and deep sea fishing. Dr. Triana has been married for 6 years to his wife Marlene, and they have two beautiful daughters, Gabriella and Julianne.
